Wyatt Stone
Wyatt Stone “WALL”: The Texas Teen Phenom Redefining Pro Pickleball
At just 19 years old, Wyatt Stone is already a force in professional pickleball, a right-handed powerhouse from the sun-soaked courts of New Braunfels, Texas, standing tall at 5'9" with a game that's equal parts precision and power. Born in 2006, Wyatt's athletic odyssey kicked off in August 2018 at age 12, when he first gripped a paddle—no prior racket sports experience, just raw curiosity that ignited an obsession. Homeschooled to chase his burgeoning passion, he dove headfirst into tournaments, racking up 32 medals in his debut year alone and claiming the USA Pickleball Junior Singles National Championship by November 2019. From there, it was a meteoric rise: over 90 tournaments, 84 medals, and by 2022 (or 2023, depending on the trail he's blazing), he'd turned pro, becoming one of the youngest gunslingers on the PPA Tour.
Wyatt's pro ledger is a testament to his relentless grind: As of April 2025, he's logged 53 tournaments and 218 matches, climbing to #17 in PPA men's doubles and #40 on the World Pickleball Rankings. His style? A blend of soft, strategic rallies and blistering blasts. Though his MLP footprint is still emerging—flashes of team play in high-stakes formats—Wyatt's focus remains on PPA dominance, where his DUPR ID (3L2G51) and UPA Tour Pro status mark him as a rising star to watch.
Off the court, Wyatt's no lone wolf; he's a certified ambassador for the sport. At 15, he became the youngest IPTPA Level II teaching pro in the U.S., dishing out clinics, lessons, and free kids' sessions to spread the gospel of pickleball's addictive mix of strategy and speed. As a VOLLI Ambassador, he champions indoor play to dodge Texas winds, and his advocacy extends to roles like USA Pickleball's National Junior Coordinator, running their social channels to rally the next gen. Training 30 hours a week while promoting healthy living, Wyatt's mantra is clear: Build a legacy of positivity, perseverance, and impact—on the court and beyond.

Brandon French
Brandon French: The Wristy Warrior of Pro Pickleball
Born and raised in the heartland of Lima, Ohio, Brandon French's athletic journey began far from the pickleball courts that would one day define him. A standout collegiate golfer at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, where he honed his precision and competitive edge on the fairways, Brandon traded his irons for paddles in 2018 during a fateful Christmas break. Introduced to the sport by his parents while dabbling in tennis as a casual pursuit, he was instantly hooked. What started as family fun quickly escalated: Brandon's natural proficiency propelled him from recreational rallies to high-stakes tournaments, where his background in table tennis and tennis fused into a pickleball style that's as deceptive as it is devastating.
By 2020, at the age of 28, Brandon turned pro, channeling his wristy, spin-heavy shots and remarkable 6'2" reach into a game that demands both finesse and ferocity. His unconventional grip—often described as "weird" even by his own admission—keeps opponents guessing, allowing him to manipulate the paddle into awkward angles for shots that defy prediction. Residing in the vibrant pickleball hub of Dallas, Texas (with ties to nearby Carrollton), Brandon balances the tour's grind with life alongside his wife, Amanda, whom he met during law school at Charlotte Law. Though the rigors of the court once sidelined him with a wrist injury—prompting a bold nine-week stint playing left-handed at the 2024 Texas Open to stay sharp—he's back to his dominant right-handed form, proving his resilience is as unyielding as his backhand.
On the professional circuit, Brandon has carved out a reputation as a formidable doubles specialist. As of late 2025, he's logged over 50 PPA Tour events and 219 career matches, boasting a win rate that's steadily climbing with each event. The founding pro member of Team Combat Pickleball after a long stint with Joola, we are excited to have him. In Major League Pickleball (MLP), he's suited up for powerhouse teams, including the Dallas Flash and, most recently, the Carolina Hogs, where his partnerships—with players like Landon Truluck and Ivan Jakovljevic—have fueled electric matchups against MLP elites like the Phoenix Flames and St. Louis Shock. From Challenger League drafts to PPA showdowns, Brandon's career highlights include punching tickets to nationals and grinding through 13 high-profile "Pickles" (MLP's signature format) since 2023, showcasing his adaptability in formats that test strategy as much as skill.
Off the court, Brandon's approachable vibe shines through his active presence on social media (@brandonfrenchpb on Instagram and X), where he shares behind-the-scenes training montages, gear breakdowns, and motivational posts for aspiring players—often blending his golf roots with pickleball wisdom, like tips on wrist action that "carry over from the swing to the smash." A UPA Tour Pro with a DUPR ID of 8GGZG8, he's not just chasing podiums; he's inspiring a new generation to embrace the paddle's addictive blend of chess and chaos.
At 33, Brandon French isn't content with being unpredictable—he's redefining it. Whether he's spinning winners at the net or mentoring the next wave in Dallas's booming scene, his story is a testament to late- blooming passion: From Ohio fairways to Texas tourneys, Brandon proves that the right grip on opportunity can change everything. Follow his rally on the PPA Tour, MLP, or your local court—because when French is in the game, the spin never stops.
We look froward to having Brandon represent Combat Pickleball in the 2026 Season!
